Odense is easily reachable by air, rail, and car.

 

 

Odense is located directly on E20 - the main highway that runs East/West across Denmark. E20 is connected to E45 that runs across the border to Germany and all the way to Southern Europe. E20 is also connected to the highway system in Sweden.

 

 

Odense is located directly on the main train line that runs East/West across Denmark. The Danish rail system is connetced directly to the rail system in Sweden and Germany and is reachable from all over Europe.

 

 

Odense is located within reasonable distance from several international airports.

 

Copenhagen Airport (located in the Capitol of Denmark) has services to numerous cities all over the world. There is a train connection from the train station at Copenhagen Airport to the train station in the center of Odense (which is just a few minutes away from the conference hotel). The travel time is between 1:30 and 2:00 hours depending on the train. The trains run at least once every hour throughout the day and evening.

 

Billund Airport has services to several major European cities (including London, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Munich, and Rome). There is an airport bus service that connects Billund Airport with the center of Odense (close to the conference hotel). The travel time by bus is 1:40 hours.

 

Esbjerg Airport has services to London. Esbjerg is located between 1:20 and 1:50 hours away from Odense by train.

 

Hamburg Airport (Germany) has services to numerous cities all over the world. There is a train connection between Hamburg and Odense. The travel time is about 4:30 to 5:00 hours.
